On site custom computer support is need for a 60+ year old MacOS computer person user “John” who lives in The Villages, FL 32162-1425. Let’s call John’s computer “earth”. John has good remote support by me (Bob), and my friend Jim; where both experienced Linux sys-admin types with 15yr+ experience. Bob, and Jim are 1000+ miles away from John, and all three meet weekly in video conferences.
The goal is to get a skilled computer administrator/support-person on site with John; with the goal of setting up an approach that allows Bob and Jim ( both using linux ) to get remote control of John’s MacOS desktop.
Imagine we get the perfect helper/computer expert Paul on site with John. Paul would install or configure host “earth” for remote access/remote control; he would then test and prove that this works for himself; then for Bob and Jim.
Please list the skills the Paul should have at a minimum, and suggest a plan to locate and hire this Paul as a contractor.
